Tears of Gaia

£68.00

Every year the world comes together for the celebration of Earth Day, a day not just to celebrate, but to reflect, advocate, and take meaningful steps toward protecting our fragile planet.

Sustainability is at the heart of my creative journey and I’ve found purpose in giving discarded materials a second life ~ from pallet wood and crisp packets to something as delicate as a used tea bag.

This Earth Day, I’m sharing a special piece inspired by Gaia, the ancient personification of Earth. In this painting, she is weeping a waterfall, her sorrow flowing with both pain and power. It's a reminder that even in grief, there is the possibility of renewal. Her tears nourish the land, just as our conscious actions can begin to heal our world.

Art has the power to inspire change, to remind us that small, mindful actions, whether it’s reducing waste, reusing creatively, or simply appreciating nature, can spark big impact when we come together.

Beautifully handpainted with acrylics on a upcycled tea bag making it a unique, unusual and sustainable piece of art.

The painting comes mounted and framed in a black 6" x 6" square acrylic box frame, with mount *

Perfect for brightening up a shelf or side.
