Hummingbirds are more than just beautiful creatures; they are symbols of happiness, hope, and resilience. They remind us to live fully in the present, to seek out the joy in life and move forward with grace ~ even through the most difficult of times.

In many spiritual traditions, the hummingbird is seen as a guide, a reminder to explore, to adapt, and to find freedom in the moment. They carry messages of strength and renewal, teaching us that peace and happiness doesn’t come from having it all, but from noticing the beauty in small, fleeting moments.

This piece was created with intention and heart, blending textures and colour to echo the vibrant energy and lightness of these amazing little creatures. I hope it inspires you, to pause, breathe, and remember how beautiful life can be.

An original one-of-a-kind 40cm x 40cm painting on stretched canvas. Using mixed media, including gold leaf, metallic sheets, iridescent paint, polyfiller, real dried flowes and paper quotes. Finished with two layers of satin varnish to seal and preserve the artwork. Lovingly painted in my home studio, signed and ready to hang.
